A survey by Cheaprooms.co.uk, compiled using the cheapest price of a double room in August, has showed St. Ives in Cornwall to be the most expensive seaside resort in Britain with an average price tag of £123 per night.
Our beloved Tenby with its three stunning beaches, came a close second with rooms averaging £107 per night; with Cowes in the Isle of Wight third at £94 per night.
At £80 per night for a double room with King sized bed, made with crisp, white Egyptian cotton sheets, which includes a full Welsh farmhouse breakfast consisting of fresh fruit, fruit juice, cereals, muesli or porridge, cooked breakfast using only local and home grown produce, followed by warm homemade bread and homemade preserves with tea or coffee, Pembrokeshire Farm B & B is a considerably less expensive option.
Centrally located for exploring all that Pembrokeshire, Carmarthenshire and Ceredigion have to offer and just a 20 minute drive to Tenby, with beautiful Blue Flag beaches at Amroth and Saundersfoot even closer, the farmhouse is surrounded by a beautiful garden in which you can sit and enjoy your breakfast in the morning or a cup of tea or coffee in the evening. There are fields to stroll through, birdsong to enjoy and animals to stroke. Now isn’t that better value than a “cheap” seaside B & B?
