Pembrokeshire looks set to have an exciting new water park development on land near Martletwy.
The £250,000 development will offer a wakeboarding park with open-water swimming and paddle boarding on a 150mx150m lake and will have a clubhouse and car parking facilities.
Wakeboarding is the fastest growing water based sport in the world, with a number of parks successfully operating throughout the UK. However, there is only one other such park in Wales and this would be a superb chance for both locals and holiday makers alike to participate in the sport. Pembrokeshire is already known for superb sea based water sports such as surfing, sailing, kayaking and coasteering so the county will be an ideal place for the wakeboarding park to be located.
