Autumn is a perfect time to visit Pembrokeshire. The sunshine is still with us and the sea temperature is perfect, having warmed up beautifully all Summer. The beaches are quiet after the Summer rush and it is pupping season for the Atlantic Grey Seals and mothers and pups can be seen all around the coast.
When the seas are calm, as they are at present, a trip out to one of the islands such as Ramsey or Skomer Island affords the perfect opportunity of seeing seals as well as dolphins with their calves, porpoises and even whales.
Enjoy long walks over the Preselis or along the coast path and then return for a cup of tea in front of a roaring log fire.
Narberth Food Festival is held on 27th and 28th September and celebrity chef, Stephen Terry, fresh from cooking for all the world leaders at the NATO summit, will be joining local chefs, Duncan Bareham from The Grove, Narberth and Will Holland from the spectacular Coast, Saundersfoot , award winning food writer and broadcaster Elisabeth Luard and others who will be demonstrating and speaking at the event. There will also be food stalls, live music and street theatre; something for all the family to enjoy.
